The "Life Plus" Youth Program supports "environmental" projects deemed to be innovative, creative, participatory and sustainable that have been designed by young people with the greater aim of achieving social benefits. In addition to providing funding support for the conducting of these youth projects, the program also aims to increase young people's capacity in the fields of project design, management and communication, thus contributing to the creation of projects that generate solutions for environmental issues.
The application process to the "Life Plus" Youth Program is carried out in two stages; teams whose project ideas are considered successful in the preliminary application stage receive training in the areas of project design and management and during workshop activities these project teams find the opportunity to assess their preliminary applications together with experts in their field.
The principal applications are presented following this training period. After a final selection process, the Life Plus Program provides the projects with consultancy in funding support, project management and communication activities. Promotional activities are also organized for each project. During the implementation of the projects, regular visits by experts provide feedback on the projects that results in the development of suggestions for improvement.
