Applications to "Life Plus" are made in two stages. During the first stage, a preliminary application that covers the fundamental aspects of the project should be submitted. Here the objective is to provide a brief and concise explanation as to the project idea.

Successful applicants from among the preliminary applications are invited to the "Life Plus" Meeting to be held in Istanbul. Participation at this meeting is limited to two persons from each project team. The objective of the meeting is to provide young people with training on project management and to offer young people feedback on their projects.

Following the "Life Plus" Meeting, the applicants, taking into consideration the feedback provided during training, are entitled to make a principal application where the technical and administrative aspects of the project implementation process as well as the project design are detailed.
